Αtermon Time Manager is designed to meet the needs of medium- and large-sized enterprises and organisations of the private or public sector in all areas of activity. Reliable, modern, integrated, cost-effective and very easy to use, it is a valuable tool that helps minimise payroll calculation times, while at the same time helps businesses organise their HR Management more efficiently. There are hundreds of enterprises and organisations in Greece using the Atermon Time Manager on a daily basis and enjoying the benefits it offers.
The system carries out, among others, the following tasks:
- Records all staff movement (entries-exits) with the assistance of a specialised electronic time recording terminal;
- It can connect to Access Control systems to obtain staff Entry-Exit data from selected Access Control readers of the access control systems. This way the system combines Access Control and Time & Attendance Management features in an integrated solution. Atermon Time Manager communicates automatically with some of the leading Access Control systems, such as the Prime Web Access of German manufacturer Primion Technology A.G., the Rosslare Access of Israeli manufacturer Rosslare Security etc.
- Calculates precisely each employee’s working time on a daily basis or at such other time intervals as the user may determine;
- Monitors compliance with applicable work schedules, shifts etc.;
- Identifies at all times the employees present at the workplace, those absent and the reasons for their absence (leave, sickness, unjustified absence, off-site work etc.);
- Records and calculates regular working hours, overtime, night work or work on holidays;
- Allows the user to monitor several installations in different locations at the same time, through a network;
- Prints out detailed reports meeting all requirements;
- It is fully compatible with payroll, HRMS or ERP software; transmits data to such software for further processing; fully compatible with broadly used processing software, such as Microsoft Excel;
- Integrates a graphic statistics module and supports processing of Time & Attendance data using internationally recognised HR Management methodologies;
- Integrates IP camera connection modules for simultaneous image recording of all employee movements, allowing for identification controls to be carried out through the software. This is an extremely useful functionality, which practically prevents employees from recording in the time recording terminals any Entry-Exit movements of other employees apart from their own. This functionality is the only legitimate way to prevent this practice in countries where the use of Biometric Time Recording Terminals is prohibited by the Data Protection Authorities (like Greece).

TimeManager™ consists of the following:
a. An electronic time recording terminal, which is installed at all staff entry and exit points; The terminal is connected to a PC for the purpose of transmitting entry-exit data. b. A time and attendance management software, installed on the PC to which the time recording terminal is connected. c. IDs (magnetic cards or proximity cards) supplied to all employees.. These IDs are used by the system to recognise each employee. Atermon Time Manager carries out the following tasks:
- Retrieves all logs (entries-exits) from the terminal’s memory and transmits them to the PC
- Checks the logs and generates a list of identified errors, prompting the user to make the necessary corrections
- Through various parameters set by the user, it makes calculations and generates numerous useful reports and transmits them to the computer screen or the printer
- Can generate an ASCII file at the end of each payroll period (or at such other intervals as may be determined by the user), for transmission of the collected data to any payroll program or other broadly used software, such as Microsoft Excel
- Connects automatically to “Atermon Payroll Manager”
The time recording terminals are installed at all staff entry and exit points. Whenever an employee enters or exits the workplace he or she inserts his or her ID (card or key tag) in the terminal’s card recognition slot. This records in the time recording terminal’s memory the following data:
- The employee identification code
- The date and time of the action
- The type of action recorded (entry / exit)
Upon each entry or exit the terminal generates an audiovisual signal to the incoming/outgoing employee. The data recorded in the terminals is retrievable any time by the Time & Attendance Management software installed on the PC. The communication software ensures accurate transmission and registration of the data collected in the log. The Time and Attendance Management software processes the data received from the time recording terminals and it is able to generate any time several informative staff movement reports. It is also able to make various calculations and save the results to a special file so that they can be accessed by other applications (payroll / statistical / pricing applications, Ms Excel etc.) The PC connected to the time recording terminals is not available only for this use, save where the Time & Attendance Management software user uses the application. Hence, the PC may be used also for other tasks, e.g. accounting, secretarial tasks etc.
